Unfortunately the first day of our trip was a bit traumatic when Reece tried to walk up one of the waterslides and fell. Paul ran over and picked him up and he set him down on a chair. It looked like his mouth was bleeding a little but then he threw his head back and Paul and I saw the gash in under his chin. We both locked eyes and I said, "That's going to need stitches!?" and Paul just nodded. The nearest hospital was 15 miles away so we handed Violet over to my family and headed to the urgent care across the street. Reece was so brave and calm until stitching time. I don't blame him, he was wrapped up in a blanket with his hands and legs pinned down while Paul was holding his head still. It was a pretty stressful situation, but we made it through! Here is a picture of him right after he was stitched...
We had such a great trip, despite the rocky start!
