Kitchen Talk

Scene: Paul and kids are in the back yard playing. I am in the kitchen.

Reece opens the back door and says, "Hey Mom, you are making dinner?"

Me: "Yup, making dinner. "

Reece: "Oh okay, I am going back outside."

Door closes and opens about 15 seconds later

Reece: "Hey Mom, make me some cucumbers."

I don't know why I thought that was so cute, but it made me laugh. He just said it so confidently, like he was a 15 year old kid.
